Dominic’s POV

“My king… she is awake. What should I say to her?” Ariana asked through our mind link, alerting me that Beth's friend has finally woken up. I told them to alert me when she woke, I wanted to have a talk with her, I have a feeling that she could help me win Beth's heart.

Bethany had been willing to risk her life for her, so I’m guessing that they are pretty close. I turned to stare at her sleeping form, she looks so beautiful, so calm and innocent. I wish she doesn’t hate me so much, I wish I can trust her with the whole truth. I never knew I would need her in my life, I never even wanted her, but now that she’s so close to me, I realize that I can never let her go, I can’t live without her.
