Chapter 32. Helping Graciela
“Do you know who I am, do you know about us?” I asked Graciela as she sat on the couch, feeling weak. She raises her brows in confusion, looking at me curiously.
“What can you tell me about Bethany?” I rephrased my question, looking deep into her eyes, as realization dawned on her. She looks at me suspiciously, I guess she is trying to figure out why I’m asking her about her friend.
“Look here, Graciela, can I call you that, is that your real name?” I asked her in a sarcastic tone, watching as her eyes went as wide as saucers.
