The vampires looked at both of us with curiosity and others smirked at Kendra as she kicked her feet on the ground while screaming her anger out, causing a commotion at the small camp of Jonas’s men in the forest.
With the heavy feeling in my chest, I went straight to my tent and I saw Jonas sitting on the chair near my bed as if he was waiting for me. His face, was still stoic and cold, which made me a little uncomfortable after that hateful argument Kendra and I had outside.
“What’s that all about?” Jonas asked with his arms crossed on his chest and I just exasperatingly sat on the edge of my bed, exhaling the anger off me.
“It was nothing,” I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair in frustration, “I just feel bad about what happened to Kendra. It made me wonder if she was right. If I did that to her. If I was the reason she became the monster she never wanted to be just because I didn’t honor my oath to take her as my Luna,”
