Chapter 14. The Gates of the Garden Maze

“How are you feeling now, Lady Claire? Do you want me to get something to eat? You haven’t eaten anything since this morning!” Cindy worriedly asked, her hands clasped together as if begging me to eat something.

“I am not hungry, Cindy. I just need some fresh air,” I told her. The room reminded me of Alpha Edison and scary glares. I needed some space and a new environment other than this bed. “Can I go to the garden at least? I haven’t seen the place since I came here. I am wondering if I can go around and see what kind of flowers are growing here.”
