I had no choice.

The moment that the supersoldiers had cornered me and annihilated almost half of my men who failed to retreat after Ray and his men were ambushed, I knew it was too late for me to flee from this place anymore. Still trembling with anger, I shifted back to my human form. As I breathed heavily grieving for the ones that were lost in the battle, I watched Ralph walk down the grand staircase wearing the King’s crown with a condescending look on his face.

I pursed my lips against my teeth, my snarls rumbling in my chest. I was about to lunge myself, dying to sip his head off his neck when two vampires appeared from my sides and grabbed both of my arms, forcing me to kneel in front of that bastard Ralph.
