I was in the vampire king’s palace.

Jonas’s lips trailed down my neck, his tongue circling on my smooth skin, while we were both lying on the soft, wide bed in his elegant room, fancier than Edison’s back in the pack manor.
There was no doubt that the vampires were hiding more treasure in this place than any werewolves had on this continent. That was why their kind posed a threat to all werewolves. Vampires were immortal. They possessed riches beyond anyone’s imagination, and they had been existing for hundreds, maybe thousands, of years.
