‘ Can you give me time to think about it?’

He nods, his shoulders sag but doesn't say anything.

‘ I don't want you doing this simply because you want to save me or something like that.’ I add. .

He tilts his head as he looks at me like really look at me. He scoffs, “ You would seriously think like that. What do you take me for?” He sounds more hurt than anything.

I continue to play with his hair, ‘ I am sorry, I just..’ I can't even complete the sentence cause now I know just how absurd I had sounded.

“ Never think that I only want to mark you because I want to save you. I have always wanted to do so but our relationship has been up and down. I think this is a perfect time.”

I simply nod, ‘ let me think about it then.’

He groans, “ Damn I see what you are doing?” He says. His lips are turned up in a small smile. The smile is too contagious. I smile too, only mine is devious.

‘ What am I doing?’ I wiggle my eyebrows at him.
