Chapter 67. Diana’s Forgiveness
Talitha’s POV
The new day started on a positive note. Hades had a meeting in court as usual after kissing me goodbyes a thousand times he finally left leaving me in the empty room. He warned against the exercises at this point as I was approaching due dates.
I couldn’t stay in bed all day so I called the service of a maid to run me a bath and in doing so she fixed me an elegant but simple gown.
My knuckles connected to the door of a room and no reply. I took the cue to enter despite the non-invitation.
“Greetings Head.” She bows and rises looking at me dumbfounded. Diana’s hair was messy with looks of a rough sleep, eye bags and swollen lips from crying distorted her pretty face.
“Can I have a seat?”
“You of all people can’t be asking that question. It’s your castle so do what you want.” She replied curtly combing her hair through with her fingers.
