Chapter 68. A Special Child

Alpha Hades’ POV

Push!

The loud command rang blasting through the windows, hallways and space of the premises. It took great control to get me outside. I couldn’t keep my head safely in a box without creating a scene seeing her in so much pain.

The healer talked me out of staying by her side, something I dreamt of doing when it’s time for our child to be born but at this juncture it’s safe to leave. Her life was on the line if I persist.

She would deliver and everything would be fine just like we ever wanted, right?

I waited for hours but no signs of the cry of the baby, the room was built to hide noise but with my advanced hearing I could listen to her scream out her lungs in sorrow. It took a lot of restraint to calm my raging demons on not breaking the door and taking her into my arms. Wiping her tears and assuring her we could do this.

We have come a long way to lose.
