It had been three days.

Three days since that night.

Three days since her daughter was back in her arms.

And she hadn’t looked at me once.

She hadn't spared me a glance for a minute. It was as if I was nothing more than someone who she wanted to disappear.

She didn't bother when I came into the room to check on Anastasia or when I stood outside while she walks in the garden. Not even when the maids brought her food and she murmured a quiet ‘thank you’ to everyone. Well, everyone but me.

She made sure to prove to everyone that she did not want me around. She wouldn't even leave her room unless she needed to.

She was ice.

And now Anastasia was learning to be the same way. Or maybe she was just purely angry with me.
