Chapter 81. A Favour

Celeste’s POV

It had been a few hours since I had refused to spend any more time with Julian and taken myself back to Liam’s room.

I couldn’t bear to spend another second with him, especially after what he decided to reveal to me. Whether Julian was telling the truth or not, his ideas were sick.

I decided to wait here until Liam and Nathaniel returned home, I felt unsafe in the safest places and it was becoming tedious. Everywhere I turned now haunted me, trauma terrorised me in every home I entered.

It wasn’t long before I heard the closing of the front door, and muffled conversation. It sounded like they were home! I slid off Liams bed and rushed out of the bedroom, wanting nothing more than to see Liam’s gorgeous face, his sweet smile just for me. I would push myself into his arms and his embrace would be the only comfort I needed right now.

I ran down the stairs like a child, taking each step by two, and my feet thundered down with the weight
