Chapter 257

Haven paced around anxiously waiting for Aeon’s return. It has been hours since he’s left yet he hadn’t come back and it was already very late. Seeing how he had rushed off like that, Haven knew something big had definitely come up.

But what? What on earth was going on?

And his mention of Lucious earlier made her feel even more anxious. Was Lucious in this world too? Could it be that he came here looking for her?

The slamming of door downstairs made Haven stop pacing around and rush back to the bed. Aeon was back. She heard his footsteps as he approached and the creaking of the door as he stepped into the room.

Haven laid on the bed with eyes closed pretending to be asleep. But her anxiety was killing here she wanted to know what happened.

Footsteps approached the bed and she shut her eyes even tighter. Maybe she’ll leave her questions till the morning then?
