Chapter 258

Haven’s thoughts ran wild as they walked through the snow. She had no idea where Aeon was taking her but somehow she trusted this man rather than the rest. She’ll rather follow him than those men from earlier.

Her mind was filled with so many questions yet she didn’t say a word. She wondered if it was really true and Lucious was really looking for her.

Even Aeon was quiet throughout the walk. They walked for a while before arriving at a building and he took her to the basement.

Two guards came up to them. “We’ll take her from here”

“No, I’ll take her myself” Aeon barked. The guards glanced at Haven before moving out of the way. Aeon led Haven through the dark hallways lit with bright torches and the guards following closely behind. They then descended a few more stairs leading to the deepest of the building.

“Where.. are we going?” Haven couldn’t help but ask.

“The dungeon”

“Dungeon?? Why??”

“The elders want you locked up for sometime
