Chapter 122. Nicole Is a Ghost Now

André's POV

I was studying with Doran, and my phone was on my ear. I wanted to get an update on Nicole's whereabouts.

The line soon connected, and Pierre's voice filled my ears.

"Good morning, Alpha. How are..."

"Any progress so far on Nicole's location?"

"Uhmm... Yes, Sir."

I heard the rustling of paper and the clicking of keys on a keyboard, and finally, Pierre spoke.

"We have been able to lock down her last location, which was a restaurant in the neighbouring city, but that is it. We haven't been able to track her phone; it seems she has a new one along with a new SIM. Nicole couldn't have had the initiative to know that we can't track her if she gets a new device, and so it leads us to believe that she has some help."

I growled lowly. This wasn't the news that I was expecting. I was hoping that we had closed in on her location and all we had to do was get a squad to pick her up.
