Olivia’s POV

My eyes flung open, and bright light bleached my irises.

I looked around hastily for a while, but all I could see were colourful circles of lights blocking my vision.

Slowly, my sight was restored to me, and I realised that I was lying in a bed.

“Olivia?”

I turned my head around and locked eyes with André.

“André?”

My heart began to beat rapidly, and my face scrunched up slowly as tears began to form in my eyes.

It didn’t take long before I burst into tears and began to wail loudly.

“My baby! André, where’s my baby?

We leaned over me and pulled me into a hug, rubbing my back affectionately and cooing softly in my ear to try to comfort me.

“Olivia, you have to calm down. Everything is alright. Our baby is fine.”
