Olivia’s POV

André was waiting outside the door and I could hear him pacing around anxiously.

The nurse attended to me and asked him to leave the room while she attended to me. He had initially refused, but finally, he gave in to her request. He wanted her to do everything that she possibly could to make sure that I was fine.

Soon, the door clicked open, and André came in. The nurse gave him a single nod and then left. He came into the room and saw me lying in bed. I felt so weak and my skin was as pale as a ghost.

I gave him a weak smile, and he sat down at the edge of my bed.

“How are you feeling?” he asked, softly stroking my hair and looking at my weak face with concern and love.

“I feel better. The nurse just said I needed to get some rest.”
