I was up before the break of dawn. The sheets were wrapped around my naked body. I heard soft breathing and in the smothering darkness, I could see my mate lying next to me. Her gently breathing fanned my chest as her arm was wrapped around me

Today was the day. I savored her face once more. With the Goddess’ blessing, this wouldn’t be the last time that I saw her.

A lock of her hair fell over her face and I gently pushed it back, trying best not to wake her. She looked so peaceful.

I didn’t know how long I stared at her Beau face before I finally managed to peel myself out of ger embrace.
