Keenan’s POV

Before I left the house, I left some edibles for the girl to eat and since she was recovered I expected that she could help herself to the pantry underground and eat as she pleased. I had the place locked and so I was not afraid that she will escape. Besides I had warned her that should she try to do so not only will the life of her father and that of mine go to waste but hers will not be safe either.

When I returned to the palace I was told that Thallus had sent for me and I was to go to his study immediately. When I opened the door to the study I am almost paralyzed with shock to see Raya there smiling broadly. It took a while for me to realize that she had to be invisible to the rest of the room which included Thallus and another whom I had yet to meet.
