“I want the court to take a vote on this but I want to make one thing clear. If the servants are voted to be released then it would mean that the current constitution will have to be reviewed and henceforth should a servant attempt to take the life of his master unintentionally then the servant will not be liable,” said Thallus and I could see the ministers looking at each other. Thallus had cornered them, there was no way they were going to vote against this.
“That is fair Your Majesty,” said Lord Bryon.
“I thought so, so shall we take the vote? Those in favor of the execution can I see your hands?” asked Thallus and one by one they all raised their hands including Lord Christopher.
“It is unanimous then, the servants are to be executed on charges of treason,” said Thallus as he stamped Bryon’s recommendation with his seal.
