Mirabelle’s POV

Camilla slept in my room but she was gone when I woke up. I saw her at breakfast and we went to school together. Adrian drove us and I sat in front with him. She was in the back with Racheal and they talked about ancient history and I was somewhat jealous.

I loved spending time with Camilla last night, I mean Racheal and I are good friends, best friends even but I like having a friend like Camilla she’s sensitive and smart seriously unlike any other friend I’ve ever had.

I noticed Adrian stealing glances at her from time to time during our ride. This isn’t the first time I’ve caught him staring at her. I’ve noticed him watching her with Santiago.

I know my brother and he’s trying to figure out a way into her pants and she’d fall into his trap because she’s naive and when he breaks her heart, she’ll end up hating me forever and I don’t want that, I want us to remain friends and I will do what I can to ensure our friendship is not ruined by Adri
