Chapter 34
Camilla’s POV
I take a few minutes to myself before I shower, I straighten my hair while singing to Grace Carter’s ‘Saving Grace’. I slip into one of the dresses Mirabelle left in here.
Taking my contacts out I take a minute to look at myself in the mirror. I have a huge mirror in my room at Dark Moon but I never used it. When I was younger I was only allowed thirty-five seconds to stare at my reflection, forty-five if I was lucky.
Mom did it to avoid a self-absorbed or worse, overly insecure daughter like the ones she already had. Despite that measure, I did develop insecurities. I look away from the mirror and down into my lap.
“Hey.” A voice says from behind me, making me stumble.
“Belle, You scared me.” I say clutching my chest to make sure my heart hadn’t jumped out when she startled me.
