Chapter 65

Santiago’s POV

Six days post the tragedy and things are almost normal, Camilla healed fast. Doctor Lee discharged her the next evening but her wounds seem to have been deeper, Adrian hurt her on the inside and that did more harm than the glass she used to cut herself. I thought she’d require some help with recovering but Camilla is a fast healer, three days and all blemishes faded to nothing but scratches that are no longer visible.

No one asked her why she attempted to end her life, Michelle on the other hand had a lot to say about the matter. She spent nearly three hours in Camilla’s room reprimanding her and calling her every term she could find to describe a selfish person, it was intense but no one intervened.

It had been the first time I’d seen Michelle exhibit some emotion and I liked it. Cami just has a way with people, she grows on you without your knowledge and when you realize, it’s too late. You love her by then and she’s top five on the list of people
