I’ve always believed in staying out of mess. Stay neutral. Stay clean. That’s what kept me alive this long in a world full of bloody secrets and laws. But lately, neutrality feels like cowardice. Especially when you’re caught between monsters and angels, and you’re not sure which is worse.

After Jaxon’s company took a hit during the Bloodmoon ambush, things shifted fast.
