Vincent had left, and I gave Daisy a subtle glare to indicate that it was time for her to go so I could spend some alone time with Eric. However, Daisy seemed oblivious to my hint and continued to chat with Eric, filling our date with stories of her and Vincent's antics in the office. It was frustrating, considering that she was the one who had pushed me to go on this date in the first place.

When we arrived at the Mansion, Daisy finally excused herself and left for her home, knowing full well that I was not pleased with her behavior.

"Eric, I'm sorry our date didn't go well," I sighed, disappointed.

"We can always reschedule," Eric said with a polite smile, but I couldn't help feeling like he was brushing me off.

"Are you not interested in me?" I asked, sensing a lack of enthusiasm on his part.
