Chapter 37. Alpha Ceremony

Speaking with Xavier and Leia had lightened my spirits, as if the burden of carrying this secret was no longer solely mine. I had to prepare for the Alpha ceremony that was about to begin. This was a new chapter, a fresh start in the Blue Wood pack. Francis' old manor had been demolished; I didn't want any reminders of that villain.

I scrutinized myself in the mirror, adjusting my black tuxedo. While waiting patiently for Leia to arrive at the Blue Wood pack with Xavier, I was greeted by my Beta, Hollie, who was wearing a green gown.
