The pack was in chaos for a week as the infirmary rooms were filled with patients suffering from a dark plague. This affliction ate away at their wolf powers, gradually weakening the shifters from within until they could no longer transform. The healer tried to combat this dark plague with magic, but it was out of control. The outbreak was too widespread, and one healer couldn't assist everyone.

Xavier attempted to enlist the help of rogue witch healers. Some arrived to offer their assistance but couldn't cure the plague.
