“Are you okay?” she asked as she moved closer to me. Her eyes fell on my face before she averted them to my stomach.

“I don’t know, I’m feeling a sudden pain,” I said as I winced. Then she leaned closer, my head immediately caught Marcus, who stood like a statue.

“I think I have to go now,” he blurted, and in a blur, he rushed out before Adrianna could stop him.
