Chapter 121. Couple Locket

Adrianna’s POV

With a tired exhale, I lowered myself into the car. “I wished I could see the views better,” I murmured, with my hand propped under my chin, staring outside the car window.

“It’s okay, we can always come again,” Bianca said.

I glanced at her, just as the car jerked to a stop. “Let’s go,” Bianca said.

We climbed down from the car, and my gaze darted around at how people minded their business.

At the side of the market square, people sold different types of goods. Some sold silk materials, and some sold beads, and many others.

Just as we moved ahead, a voice made my step halt, “Hi, please buy my locket.” A little girl clutched my dress.

My gaze shifted downward, and Bianca, who was a few steps ahead of me, stopped and glanced at me. “I have a beautiful locket,” the little girl said, with a bright smile, a single missing tooth added to her charm.

“What are you doing? We have to go.” Bianca said behind me.
