My hands folded into fists as I sat curled into a ball on the couch.

The day grew darker, and we had not heard anything from them.

Bianca paced the room restlessly, with one hand on her waist and the other on her hair.

Suddenly, the door burst open, a guard stood at the door, immediately his gaze met ours, and he bowed slightly. My eyes traced his clothes that were drenched in blood, instantly my heart skipped as I fled to my feet.
