Chapter 130. I Will Never Forgive Him
Adrianna’s POV
My heart tightened as I buried my face in the crook of her neck, tears dropping down my face. Yet she didn’t complain. Instead, she drew circles on my back.
“After these tears, no more crying, Adrianna,” she whispered.
My lips curved into a smile that barely reached my eyes as I pulled away. She smiled as she used a handkerchief to wipe my tears.
“How do you feel?” she asked.
I swallowed. “A bit better, I guess,” I murmured with my cheek curved a bit.
She knew I was definitely lying, but I felt glad she didn’t press hard on it. “You should eat,” she said as she passed the tray towards me.
My gaze flickered to the steaks and mashed potatoes. She knew beef was my favorite kind of protein, and she made it.
I couldn’t feel more grateful for having a friend like Bianca. Slowly, I dug into the meal.
The first taste, which would have made me moan in excitement, tasted nothing but bland.
