Chapter 77

Aiden’s POV

“You are not going in there alone!” His voice was stern with a hint of warning as he peered down at me, “Don’t fight me on this Gabby.”

“I am going in alone Aiden.” I stood my ground, equally matching his intimidating gaze, “He was my assailant not yours.” I turned towards the door of the cell, “Stop treating me like I am some baby.”

“Hmm.” Aiden turned me back to face him, he ran his thumb across my jawline, “You are a baby, my baby.” He smiled as a small smile grazed my lips, “I will be here waiting for you, do not hesitate to mind link me if anything goes wrong.”

He dropped a small kiss on my lips before moving away from I and with a slight nod he signaled at the guard to open up the cell door.

The huge metal door opened with a creak and gust of harsh wind blew from the opening as the door hit the other side of the wall with a clang. I tightened my fist as I walked in being slightly nervous and hoping that things wouldn’t go wrong.
