Ember’s POV

I could still feel the fire coursing through us as we lifted our head to the sky and released our howl of triumph.

We had done it. We had defended our status as Nate’s goddess-given mate, and as the Luna of the Wandering Hearts Pack.

As our pack mates shifted and joined their voices to ours in victory, the feeling was indescribable. These were my people, my family, and every voice that rose in unison with my own rang with pride.
