Chapter 20. Reconsideration

Grace secretly felt very happy. Firstly, because she could finally speak her own mind without Mario's help, after years of work. Secondly, because Evan admitted that her opinion was good, even though the way he expressed it was not as she expected.

Just as Grace returned to her seat, Evan finished the meeting. After he left, the others also rushed out of the room without lingering.

“Congratulations, Miss Grace. You're really great,” said Vino, showing two thumbs up. He packed up the things he needed to bring and said goodbye to Grace before leaving.

Grace then took her iPad and turned off the projector and air conditioner before exiting the room. She immediately walked back to her office.

Nonetheless, before turning into her office, Grace felt like thanking Evan. She changed direction towards the pantry. She made a nice smoothie, then put a small piece of paper with a short thank-you note.
