Chapter 31. Getting Back

Grace’s good mood was totally ruined. She most likely needed to pull some effort to get her good mood back. She took big steps in order to get home faster.

When she reached her house, Grace saw her mom sitting on the terrace with a neighbor. Nevertheless, Indah stopped chatting and directed her gaze toward her with frowns and a wide smile.

“Evan?” Indah got to her feet and walked closer.

Grace looked to her back and found Evan standing without her knowing. “Huh?! What are you doing here?” she riposted.

Ignoring Grace’s words, Evan opened his arms and let Indah pull him into her embrace. “How have you been, Mom?” he asked.

Tears appeared at both corners of Indah’s eyes. “I’m very well. And you? Oh goodness, it’s been so long since the last time we met,” she said, giving a light squeeze on his both arms. “How come you and Grace are together? Did you guys make up already?”
