Chapter 34. Suffocated

On her way back, Grace couldn’t stop her head from thinking about Evan. She somehow felt that he didn’t keep a distance from her because they were at the hotel. There was something else that seemed to be deliberately hidden and she wanted to find it out.

Instead of going to the pantry as previously planned, she went to her office. She collected all her stuff and sat until it was time for home. At five PM sharp, she left as fast as she could.

Grace even turned down Anthony’s offer to pick her up. She told him that she had a plan; to see Evan at his apartment which she couldn’t tell Anthony about.
