The anxiety I felt when we strolled into the beautiful building almost could suffocate me, I was so anxious that I held Gale’s hand tight. I was finally going to see the kind of apartment we would be living in together. The fact that it came from Gale’s heart made it more precious and dear to my heart, so we used the elevator and reached the fifteenth floor immediately. We walked until we're standing in front of the penthouse’s door.
Gale looked at me and slowly pinched my nose.
“Close your eyes,” he said and I twitched my head to the side in confusion. It’s just a penthouse – why do I need to close my eyes? But I didn’t ask that out loud and did as he asked.
As soon as my eyes were closed I had him swipe and put in a password then the door unlocked, at that time I was asked to open my eyes and I slowly opened them. The whole house was dark but lit up from the door.
