Chapter 6. Almost Caught

Quinn sighed in relief after Kathleen left the room; that was a close shave... 

Thank goodness Henry had a high IQ. She glanced at the thick curtains behind which Henry was hiding, sighed again, and left the room to avoid suspicion.

Just as she was about to leave the room, a hand held her back. She turned in surprise at Henry who was currently grinning from ear to ear.

"What is it? We almost got caught!" She hissed sharply. Did Henry knock his head against something? Did he want to break ties with Kathleen? According to what she observed, his relationship with Kathleen seemed to be based on mutual benefits.

"And so? What if we almost got caught?" Henry folded his arms with a smirk plastered on his face. He seemed to be treating the whole matter casually. Kathleen was rich, in fact, richer than Henry was...
