Chapter 56
Berlin, Germany.
4 months later.
A young woman with dark hair, resembling raven's wings, hurriedly crossed the street. She had arrived in the city three days ago and had only now found the time to explore it. She clutched her gray coat tightly to her body; winter had come earlier than expected that year, and all the people were bundled up in warm clothes: coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and in some cases, earmuffs. She stopped abruptly because the traffic light was red, and a cool breeze blew in her direction, causing a few strands of her hair to escape from her braid.
"This weather is worse than in London," she thought, tucking her hair back in place.
The traffic light changed to green, and the raven-haired woman crossed the street, blending in with the other pedestrians who were rushing to their respective destinations. Despite it being just after noon, there was no sign of the sun in the sky. Dark clouds covered it, announcing a storm later
