Chapter 56. Bodyguard
I was trailing behind Aaron the whole day like a lost puppy. However, I would like to refer to myself as his bodyguard. Although he laughed at me when I said it to me. I mean, I get why he would find it funny. I was this petite woman, and he was this tall man with a sturdy build. But I was determined to act as his bodyguard.
I didn't want to leave him alone for a single second, as if I would lose him forever if I did.
I spent the rest of the day after having lunch with him in his study where he was busily working. In other words, for the most part, I checked him out to keep myself from getting bored. That black shirt suited him really well. Then again, everything just suited him. But I really love the way his top two buttons were undone.
His hair was not perfectly set up today as well. It was a little messy; it gave him a softer and gentler look. Maybe because he did not seem to have any meetings to attend. That’s why he could afford to look
