Chapter 57. Loving Idiot
It was as if someone ripped my heart out right in front of my eyes as I watched blood gushing out of Aaron's forearm.
“Catch him!” Aaron ordered and fell to his knees in pain. I saw a few men coming out from hiding and running after a man in black attire.
I rushed to Aaron, tears already streaming down my face. “What were you thinking? I knew you were planning something devious like this. But I didn't think you would go this far—”
He placed a finger on my lips and mumbled, “Getting shot wasn't the part of my plan.”
“You are such an idiot. What if he shot you in the head, moron?” I scolded and took out the handkerchief I had in my bag to wrap it around his upper arm.
“His target isn't good, and I thought my men will be able to catch Dean before he can do anything to me,” he said while trying to maintain a neutral face as if his injury wasn't hurting at all.
