Chapter 41. Argument Between Victor and Uriel

Madeline's POV

"Try hurting her and you will be dead to me."

A cold voice emerged behind me that made my skin crawl, but before I could even see who it was, the pirate with a sharp hook was catapulted from us and he hit the men that were behind him. Uriel jumped on my side with his hand on his satchel, but when he attacked the pirates who were triggered by what he did, he met them with raining punches and kicks. My jaw dropped as I saw how he easily defeated them one by one without even having sweat on his forehead.

"Hayahh!" everyone exclaimed as they withdrew their swords and in synchronicity attacked their weapons toward Uriel.

"No!" I shouted, and because of anger that they might kill Uriel, something from my hands was released in their direction. 

"Your Highness!" Uriel called me. "You might kill them!"
