Chapter 60. Catching Fire
Uriel's POV
"Which way do we go?" the countess asked as we got out of the town of mortals.
"Oh, Elizabeth said we go straight until we see two roads opposite to each other. We ought to take the right road," I informed her. "After that, we will see a town that is surrounded by black small houses with gates of fire."
My description did not even faze her. She just moved her horse and made it run on its place before she squinted her eyes on the road we will take. After that, she then looked at me.
"Okay," she answered and nodded. "Then we have to arrive before dusk."
"Yup, so do you want to-"
"Let's go."
My index finger that I raised to invite her for a snack was left hanging because she already exclaimed loudly to make the horse run through the dusty road. I groaned in frustration, which made my horse neigh, like it was laughing by how I was ignored by a majestic lady.
