A week later…
For the past two days, I have been confined to my workspace, desperately trying to create something for my upcoming exhibition. Yet, every stroke of the brush felt uninspired and devoid of life.
Mary informed me a few days ago about a significant event taking place in Manhattan. The host of the event was inviting artists from all over the country to showcase their work and hold a mini-exhibition. Initially, it didn't seem like a big deal, but then she revealed who the host was.
Suddenly, I realized I couldn't afford to miss this opportunity. Not only would it grant my work greater exposure, but I could also have the chance to meet some of the biggest names in the industry.
I had already met David Ketch, an artist I idolized. However, David wasn't someone who easily extended his support. If I wanted him to endorse and acknowledge me, I needed to impress other influential figures and let my work and talent speak for them
