Chapter 22

At dawn, since I had already resigned from the convenience store and didn't have to work, I woke up with a headache and walked to the kitchen, ready to make a warm cup of coffee. However, I found Taeshin there, standing, already holding a cup of the beverage in his hand.

"Do you want some coffee?" he lifts the cup he's holding. I nod and sit on one of the stools as I watch him pour some of the drink for me. "Did you sleep well?"

"I slept, but I have a bit of a headache," I grumble.

"You had a bit too much to drink last night, but nothing out of the ordinary. Have your coffee and then take a painkiller, it'll pass soon."

I nod, taking the cup from his hand, and soon I'm blowing on the steam rising from it, contemplating something that might help me a bit.

"How did you and JiHo start dating?" I ask suddenly, laughing at the way Taeshin scrunches his nose upon hearing the question.
