Chapter 3

I sigh, surrendering, and eager to kiss those plump lips again, but what he does next frustrates me as he steps back, reaching into the pocket of his pants.

I wonder if he was just playing with me or testing me in some way, but before my head melts from the multitude of thoughts running through it, he raises his hand and shows me a card.

"If you want more of this, find me."

I take the card and read it. On the back, his name is written in large, visible letters, and below it, his number.

It's a simple card.

"What do you mean?" I ask, not understanding. "If I want more? Do I have to come after you?"

"Don't get me wrong, I can take your number too, but more will only happen if you want it to." he touches my face again, but doesn't get closer. "You're shy, I noticed that, but I really liked you."

"If you liked me, why does it seem like you're running away?" I ask, biting my lip, afraid of being rude or something.

"It's not that." another gentle touch on my cheek.

Good thing I'm not one to fall in love easily, otherwise, I'd be screwed by now.

"But I can't continue with you tonight. Tonight, just having your kisses won't be enough for me, but you can't give me more than that, am I right?"

Is he talking about sex?

Wanting to have sex?

Asking me about sex?

Universe, this is all your fault!

"I am..." I respond, mortified.

"I assumed so. But if you want, call me, I can teach you some things."

"Teach me?" I widen my eyes again, understanding what he means.

"There are many things I can teach you. If you're interested, look for me."

Having said that, he gives me a peck on the lips and another smile, then turns and walks away.

I remain motionless in the same spot, the card in my hand, watching him go. Kang Hyun-suk pats Hajun on the back twice, who's on the dance floor with Taeshin, and continues walking.

I see the man saying goodbye to Taeshin with another kiss, and like Hyun-suk did with me, he hands a card to Taeshin.

I see Hyun-suk joining Hanguk, who was still in the corner, and when Hajun approaches, they all just leave the club.

Minah and Rini come up to me, smiling, completely curious.

I show them the card, still a bit lost, and hear Jackson's loud laughter as he approaches.

"My holy glitter, non-gay redhead, what was that kiss, huh?" he asks, making me blush in embarrassment.

I knew everyone would be watching me.

"Kang Hyun-Suk..." Rini comments, looking at my card. "Interesting... but why did he give this to you?"

"Did you kiss him and ask for a job?" Minah asks, looking at the card. "Oh, it's not the company's card."

"Do you really think I'd ask for a job like that?" I finally laugh, then look at Taeshin. "What's on your card?"

He shows the card and I furrow my brows because his is a business card. Sun Hajun, lawyer.

"Did you ask for a job?" Minah asks, laughing as she hears Taeshin swearing.

"Mine only has his name on it." I comment. "Ugh, so mysterious..."

"Hot, that's what it is." Jackson comments. I watch him as Yejun wraps his arms around Jackson's waist. I take the card back and put it in my pocket.

It was past four in the morning when we decided to go back together and head to my house.

We squeezed into the ground floor apartment, which only had one bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom.

My friends tried to get comfortable on the sleeping mats spread across the floor, and I went to my room.

I'm still startled by the fact that I kissed a man and enjoyed it so much. I liked the way he held me and left me so disoriented.

Lying on my back, wearing only black boxers.

I hold the card between my fingers, and even though my vision is tired, I can still read his name there.

I wonder if I should call and satisfy the curiosity that's growing in me.

Because I won't be able to carry on with my life if I don't really know what he was talking about when he said he'd teach me something.

Is he really talking about sex? But sex doesn't need a teacher...

I turn over, facing the beige wall, and sigh. Maybe I need to call, maybe I need to find out who Hyun-suk is and what he wants with me.

I close my eyes, remembering the kiss.

I need to, and I will. I can't let a man kiss me like that and leave it at that. If he wants to teach me something, I can give it a chance just to find out what it is, right?

Yeah, I should, and maybe I will. I'm Jeong Jaejun, the most handsome redhead in the world, and I can't die with this doubt.
