Chapter 399
Zedekiel lunged forward in a blur of silver and frost, his sword raised—but before he could reach them, Dareth flicked his wrist. A burst of invisible force rippled outward, catching Zedekiel in the chest and hurling him across the field. He hit the ground hard, the impact splitting the earth beneath him.
“DARETH, STOP THIS!” Eron’s voice thundered, shaking the air. His fury called the ground to life; dust spiraled around him as his weapon materialized—a sword of stone and crystal, its double-edged blade gleaming with emerald vines which twisted and pulsed. He pointed it toward Dareth, trembling. “Don’t make me fight you.”
