Chapter 10. The Search

As a large group of men turned into wolves and dashed into the dark night, racing into the woods with Jake at the forefront, Elvira felt dejected and alone. She looked around and saw that it was just her and their minors, with some market people remaining. She couldn't recognize those that were still around.

“Let's go back.” Elvira turned to her dazed friends and they silently followed her. All of them had their thoughts about the events of the night, but none of them was brave enough to mention it. They should have been done by now… While they were walking back to the center of town, Elvira brought out her phone and tried to call Ethan.

The phone rang several times, but it wasn't picked up. She then sent a message and deleted it immediately it was sent. They are not stupid.
