Chapter 41. You Have a Visitor

Hannah’s POV

“You have a visitor, Hannah,” one of the hostel workers announced before walking away.

It was breakfast time and everyone was in the dining area where we usually eat. All eyes turned to me for a brief moment before they returned back to their business.

Since word spread that I had been fired for stealing, people often stared at me. Some believed I was a thief and tried to secure their stuff around me, including some of my roommates.

“Do you know who it could be?” Katie asked with obvious curiosity.

“No, I’ll just have to see,” I answered before getting up.

“Do you want me to come?” she asked, never one to miss out on anything worth gossiping.

I had absolutely no idea who the person could be. I had no one in my life, so who would want to visit me in a shelter?

I was extremely curious.
