Chapter 4. Want to Be Free
Rena sighed. The white ceiling of the bedroom had been the center of his attention. She misses her father, mother, and brother, Ben. Since the incident that made her part with Ben and until now, she has never seen him again. What if she asked Alpha Jonathan and Luna Irene for permission to get out of the pack instead of looking for her brother. Indeed it is allowed.
But considering that she would be labeled an ignorant person if she lived in the palace from thirteen until now because the pack had raised her. She was distraught.
But among it all, there is a Beta Romeo that she really can't leave. Beta Romeo with all the arrogance that man has. Rena thinks that Beta Romeo will change over time and doesn't think of himself as a parasite in the palace but as a member of the pack ... mate.
Her cheeks are puffy between sweet and bitter when faced with the man. Let Beta Romeo stab him with sharp words even if it hurts him greatly. At least she gave enough distance so that Romeo would not step on her pride.
Her hand stroked the pendant around her neck, a gift her mother gave her on her birthday at nine. Silver necklace with ballerina pendant. She has always dreamed of becoming a reliable ballerina. With the ability and good body shape, he can quickly master basic movements at a young age.
Rena woke up from her bed. She took a deep breath and exhaled repeatedly. She hadn't done this in a long time, and now she would try again.
With both heels pressed against each other, Rena started. The beautiful moves that he once mastered will never be forgotten. She gracefully twisted and swung her arms. Balance is number one for ballet dancers, but Rena fails that place is also essential.
She was laughing when she fell because her feet hit the wardrobe. She leaned her back against the wall. Her monolid and narrow eyes disappeared as those lips laughed.
A loud knock on the door made Rena's laughter stopped. She quickly opened the door.
"Why is it so noisy?!" Madame Morin, in her nightgown, was standing in front of the door of Rena's room, accompanied by several other maids.
"I slipped." That was all Rena could explain. She won't talk too much.
"It's late. You should sleep, don't let my ears hear the noise from your room, Rena. Do you understand?!" said Madame Morin, who immediately left. Rena, who saw that, could only nod.
She sat on the bed again, rubbing her necklace's pendant, occasionally kissing as if she felt his mother's presence there.

"I heard Beta Romeo is dating Gania," the whispers of the maids this morning made Rena's ears heat up. How could he not? Just as she left the room, several waiters were gossiping at the dining table.
"Rena, where are you going? No breakfast first?" Rena, who got the offer, just smiled.
"I want to go to the bathroom for a moment," she said, nodding to her fellow maids.
"Gania?" Sarah asked Natalie.
"Yes, Gania. They came home together last night. It looks like they've been out on a date." Sarah scooped up her food.
Wendy, who had just joined, immediately looked at Sarah. "Maybe they got an assignment from Alpha," said Wendy, unsure.
Natalie snorted at Wendy's words. What task made Beta and the maids walk together until late at night. "You are jealous?" Natalie looked at Wendy.
“Gania is no match for me. You know that, right?" Scooping out their food, Natalie and Sarah looked at each other again.
"Rena, after breakfast, you are assigned to meet Luna Irene." There was a condition of disliking when she said that.
Rena, who was sitting opposite Wendy, immediately nodded. "Okay."
"I'm surprised at you," mocked Wendy, still watching Rena. "How can a rogue get special attention, especially from Luna."
Rena, who heard that gripped the spoon tightly. Can Wendy still say that, even though she has been in the palace for almost ten years? During her life, Rena never discriminated against status or caste. All looked the same in her eyes. But why do other people prefer to talk about it in front of their eyes.
Rena controlled her breath. She couldn't explode. Mother always taught herself to be patient.
"I still doubted your status from a long time ago. How did you get into this territory on your own? Or maybe you and your family have evil plans for everyone."
Rena climbed onto the dining table and strangled Wendy's neck in a split second. Her eyes blazed like fire. The wolf's side that had always been emphasized so as not to come out made Rena even angrier. The noise she made Sarah and Natalie scream, and everyone came to see what was going on.
Wendy, out of breath with a pale face, made Rena control her breath.
"Rene!" Madame Morin's booming voice made Rena look around. "Let go of Wendy!"
"You can insult me, but not my family." The soft tone of the ear made Wendy feel tighter in her chest because Rena was choking her even more.
With a jolt, he pushed Wendy making the woman cough until she fell. Several onlookers helped Wendy to her feet, including Natalie and Sarah.
Her hand was forcibly pulled down the table.
Madame Morin had the heart to do all this in front of everyone. Her face was throbbing with pain and hot. Her face lowered, even more, when the butler's insults and curses gave her. But there is one thing that does not escape her view. Romeo was there and saw it all with Gania next to him.

Not understanding what Romeo was thinking after seeing what happened in the mansion behind the palace. He directly saw how fiercely Rena treated Wendy very rudely. Romeo does not like women like that. He prefers women who are soft-hearted and can provide comfort for him.
"Rome," called Gania holding Romeo's arm.
As if awakened by a daydream, Romeo turned his face to look at the beautiful woman beside him.
"You don't want to stop all this?" she asked when she saw Romeo's slightly dazed face.
"Stop what?"
"Rena. She might have been treated more cruelly after that incident." Gania took Romeo out of the mansion's kitchen when she saw Madame Morin had taken Rena somewhere.
"That woman knows what she did. She already knows what the reward will be." Romeo looked up at the tree in the morning sun. "It's not my territory anyway. Let Madame Morin do her thing," he continued.
Gania just sighed, making Romeo look at her white face. "Thank you," said Gania holding her wrist, which contained a white bracelet.
Romeo couldn't help but smile and stroked the top of Gania's head. "You shouldn't be thanking me," said Romeo, lying down on the grass and letting the sunshine through him.
"At least I thank you for covering up my sadness." Gania also lay down her body.
"That's enough. Calm yourself." Romeo closed his eyes.
