Chapter 69. Shameless Family

Lena’s POV

As I stepped out that morning with Lucas to go work. I saw his assistant, Liam and his driver Caleb, waiting by his car. I shook my head and the privilege wealthy people enjoy while I have to drive myself to work everyday.

I bade Lucas goodbye and got into my car to begin my journey to Shadow pack. I arrived in the hospital around 8 and immediately got to work.

Around 11, I was done with my morning check ups. I went back to my office and took out my phone to call my dad.

“Hello,” he answered after the third ring. “Do you have anything good for me?”

“I’m going to send you an address, meet me this afternoon,” I replied coldly on purpose.

There was a pause before he shouted, “Who do you think to just order me around? If you want to see, come find me yourself.”

“It’s about Lucas’s investment in your company but if you don’t want it, forget it.”

“Wait.” He remained silent for a minute before he said, “Send me the address.”
